In a world where corporate social responsibility plays an ever-increasing role for organisations, our partnership program showcases the positive impact that businesses can make through supporting work like Tree Aid’s.
There are many amazing companies that support our work (see here), and today we will be looking at three of them: Prestige, 2000Trees and DreamingFish. We're taking a closer look at the ways they work with us to tackle poverty and the effects of the climate crisis in Africa's drylands.
For more information on each partner and how they work with us, take a look further down the article. But in the meantime, here’s a brief introduction:
Prestige - is a UK-based company that specializes in manufacturing and selling cookware and kitchen accessories. Their product range includes various types of pots, pans, baking trays, and utensils.
2000 Trees - is an independent music festival in rural Gloucestershire that celebrates a variety of eclectic, alternative genres.
DreamingFish - is an award-winning creative agency, specialising in video and animation.
2000Trees - “Simply, we wanted to plant trees and protect forests because it seemed like a clean and honest way to answer our climate responsibility. After speaking to several different charities, we felt that Tree Aid was the most professional and organised.”
DreamingFish - “Back in 2019, we were looking for a charity partner who, by planting trees, could help us offset the carbon we produce through our work. We looked at a number of options and felt that Tree Aid resonated more with us as a company as it was working on grassroots projects that actually made a difference to the individuals involved, not just through the planting of trees but also through teaching sustainable agriculture and looking at projects in a wholistic sense.”
Prestige - “We were looking for a partner that had impact on a global scale. We love the idea of the Great Green Wall and how it can readdress some of the biggest issues facing this generation. The idea of playing a part in that, as well as supporting local communities was perfect for us”.
2000 Trees - “Professionalism and scope. The climate is a problem we all must face, and we wanted to be involved with an organisation who is doing large scale enterprises.
DreamingFish - “Tree Aid was the catalyst to us becoming a values-driven business; we've always been one, we've just never had the means to talk about it before, along with the appropriate assets to back it up. It's really given us the encouragement to go further with our sustainability policies and community engagement and to start conversations with our clients and suppliers about what we can all do to help reduce the effects of climate change.”
2000Trees - “Absolutely, we want to help amplify the Tree Aid message!”
DreamingFish - “We would very much recommend Tree Aid as a charity partner. It's been great for the whole team to know that the contributions that we are making, along with the support services that we also provide, are making a massive difference to the people and environment in the drylands of Africa.”
Prestige - “Absolutely, Tree Aid is specifically partnered with our Eco range and has played an important part in its growth, as it's fast become our best-selling range of cookware!”
Thank you to all our corporate supporters! Business partnerships are vital in supporting charities and organisations working towards social and environmental causes. The partnerships highlighted in this article between Tree Aid and Prestige, 2000 Trees, and DreamingFish demonstrate the importance of businesses taking on social responsibility and actively working towards creating a positive impact in the world. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to continue our vital work in the Sahel.

Prestige is a UK-based company that specialises in manufacturing and selling cookware and kitchen accessories. Their product range includes various types of pots, pans, baking trays, and utensils. Prestige offers an Eco ware range of cookware that is designed to be environmentally friendly. This range includes pots and pans that are made from recycled materials and have a non-stick coating that is free from harmful chemicals like PFOA.

DreamingFish pride themselves in using a client-focused approach that fosters intricate collaboration every step of the way. The result? Effective content that boasts innovation, engagement, and creativity.
DreamingFish have proudly been supporting Tree Aid for four years now. They donate to Tree Aid on a quarterly basis, including extra donations when they secure new clients.
Their support has not been limited to donations alone. DreamingFish have also helped us to bring our creative visions to life with striking videos, to use in our appeals and campaigns. Here are some examples of the work that we have done in collaboration with Dreaming Fish:
2000 Trees is an independent music festival in rural Gloucestershire that celebrates a variety of eclectic, alternative genres. Founded in 2007 by a group of six festival-crazed friends, the idea started with a desire for creating a dynamic and energetic environment that could be enjoyed by everyone. After years of experience in muddy fields, it’s safe to say they nailed the ideal atmosphere for the typical festival-goer, who sits at the top of Trees’ priorities. The way they describe it, Trees is more than an event. It’s a family gathering based on positive community values.
Since partnering with Tree Aid in 2022, 2000Trees has helped to make an incredible impact on communities living in the drylands of Africa. They’ve used imaginative and creative ways of supporting us, their latest avenue being a £1 donation per festival attendee. At last year’s 2000Trees, we were also proud to see the festival’s surrounding gates adorned with Tree Aid posters around the site.
