A gift in a will is a special way to support Tree Aid. However big or small, you can be sure that it will have a lasting impact on communities across the drylands of Africa.
You can include a gift to Tree Aid when writing your will for the first time. If you already have a will and would like to include a gift to us, we recommend you speak to your solicitor about the best way to do this.
We have partnered with will-writing experts Octopus Legacy to offer our supporters the opportunity to make their will for free.

There’s no obligation for you to include a gift in your will to Tree Aid, but if you choose to, that would be greatly appreciated.
Octopus Legacy will be acting only in your interests and on your instructions.
A gift to Tree Aid in your will is not subject to inheritance tax. If you leave 10% or more of your total estate to Tree Aid, you can reduce the inheritance tax rate.
Please seek advice from your solicitor about Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.
Thank you so much for considering leaving a gift in your will. It’s a truly remarkable way to support Tree Aid to tackle poverty and the effects of the climate crisis by growing trees, improving incomes, and restoring and protecting land.
